My friend turned his large machine shed into a "mini-gym for his boys.  I did some muraling for him- whatever the boys suggested- no theme, just a little of this and a little of that.  Take a peek....

4  UNITED STATES / Iowa / Ever thought of owning a store? on: August 04, 2008 08:07:02 AM
I have a small gallery south of Iowa City. I need a partner, as the hours are just too much for me to handle on my own.  Basically no cost other than rent, which we could easily make if I could stay open enough hours (I also have a "real" job).  Anyone interested?  I'm open to changing the look and product of the space to blend our two style.  Maybe expanding to carry other products?  Whatever you have in mind- I'm open.  I don't want to have to give up my little shop!  Anyone interested in discussing this further?

8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / silly sculpey moment--face magnets on: January 05, 2008 09:25:46 PM
Here are some magnets I made tonight. I have no clue why.  Not my finest works of art, but they sorta make me giggle.  I think I'll just very discretely stick them to peoples refrigerators when I go visit and leave them wondering where the ugly things came from...  excuse the crazy yellow photo,I need a new camera.

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / black cat tissue holder on: January 05, 2008 06:05:30 PM
Inspired by a fellow crafter(I am so sorry I don't recall the name)- I made a black cat version of their fuzzy blue monster kleenex keeper.  Thanks for the idea!

It's for my friends daughter.  She's a wicked naughty little thing.  She's quite into hissing at people like a cat. So lady-like.  I plan on making other animals.  Comments welcome!
