2  Re: completed breakfast table in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Celery70 on: August 07, 2009 10:14:06 PM
I finished the other side of my table tonight.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  I'm on a mission to do a whole bunch of tables now- my next will be a sushi dinner theme I think.

I found this table in the garage of my rental house.  It was pretty banged up and ugly-so i painting it- I'm just half way done but wanted to show craftsters how it's going so far.

My friend turned his large machine shed into a "mini-gym for his boys.  I did some muraling for him- whatever the boys suggested- no theme, just a little of this and a little of that.  Take a peek....

7  silly sculpey moment--face magnets in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Celery70 on: January 05, 2008 09:25:46 PM
Here are some magnets I made tonight. I have no clue why.  Not my finest works of art, but they sorta make me giggle.  I think I'll just very discretely stick them to peoples refrigerators when I go visit and leave them wondering where the ugly things came from...  excuse the crazy yellow photo,I need a new camera.

9  black cat tissue holder in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Celery70 on: January 05, 2008 06:05:30 PM
Inspired by a fellow crafter(I am so sorry I don't recall the name)- I made a black cat version of their fuzzy blue monster kleenex keeper.  Thanks for the idea!

It's for my friends daughter.  She's a wicked naughty little thing.  She's quite into hissing at people like a cat. So lady-like.  I plan on making other animals.  Comments welcome!

10  felt ladybug pillow in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Celery70 on: December 19, 2007 11:53:52 AM
I'm on a felt kick.  Because I have zero patienece and can't seem to spend more than 30 minutes on a single project, felt is my new thing.  I like that I don't have to baste under the edges since they don't fray.  I'm also choosing to call my hurried wonky sewing lines intentional and whimsical.  This is a pillow front-

and this- inspired (well, directly copied from batgirl) Wink is a felt owl purse.  Thanks Batgirl!
