Here's my haul from Meg/piratekisses:

I got a treasure box, some coins, a bookmark, a devotional journal, and a pocket mirror!  Thanks for your hard work, I will definitely appreciate it and remember it.

13  Some finished tops a.k.a. progress... in Quilting: Discussion and Questions by LibbyK on: May 02, 2007 07:05:43 PM
Mweh - so yeah, I'm really good at starting projects and really awful at finishing them.  I actually made myself a list of the projects I have started so I could make concentrated progress on finishing.  OF course finishing the tops is easy then comes the quilting part which always throws me for a loop  Undecided.

Anyway, here's a couple of projects that have recently become finished tops and might be finished quilts before I'm 30.  Maybe sharing my progress will help motivate me.  (p.s. the tops were mostly done when I started finishing them...)

14  Blue Stars Quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by LibbyK on: April 12, 2007 08:43:12 AM
I started making these stars right after I graduated from college when life seemed (seems!) so uncertain and I had (have!) no idea where I would end up.  Each star is special to me in some way, even if it's just fabric that I love, and I know whereever I end up it will be a comfort to have.  It is technically a coverlet (two layers) b/c it doesn't have the third layer (filling) that would technically make it a quilt, but who wants to be technical, right??  I made it lightweight so I could use it year round, or take it with me if I ended up moving to a warmer client.  Anyway, it turned out just how I wanted it...It may be weird for other people, but it's super special to me.
