1  The new winter hat. in Knitting: Completed Projects by AnnecyEmily on: September 22, 2007 02:54:59 AM
I think my husband and I will be sharing this one. I loved knitting on circulars but despised decreasing at the top with DPNs. Thought I'd poke myself. Those things are weapons.

I just love love love knitting with Noro Kureyon.

Here's the easy-peasy pattern:
CO 80 sts
K2, P2 in the rnd for 16 or 17 cm
P2tog, K2
K2, P1 for 2 rnds
P1, K2tog
P1, K1 for 2 rnds
K2tog until you have about 5 or 7 sts left
Pull yarn through remaining loops and weave in ends.

2  My finished Saturday Market Bag. in Knitting: Completed Projects by AnnecyEmily on: September 14, 2007 12:10:28 PM
I finally finished my market bag and love it even though it's a little lopsided. It took me awhile to figure out the lace pattern, but I finally got it. Yea.  Cheesy

3  A scarf whore. in Knitting: Completed Projects by AnnecyEmily on: July 20, 2007 12:50:18 AM
It's time for me to branch out and knit something more challenging than scarves. But, I'm scared.
These are my latest FOs. Both were gifts.

4  Ribbon scarf - my second FO in Knitting: Completed Projects by AnnecyEmily on: April 25, 2007 02:47:17 AM
Being a beginner, my knitting abilities just include scarves at the moment. I made this as a gift. Since the current weather in my town is HOT, I wanted to do a lightweight scarf. Not a fan of the color combo, but I hope the gift recipient likes it. I got the idea here: http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/ki-ribbonScarf.html?noImages=0.

5  My first FO! in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by AnnecyEmily on: April 21, 2007 07:29:47 AM
I just recently taught myself how to knit thanks to the SnB Handbook. My first project was the "ribbed for her pleasure" scarf. I used a sport yarn from Phildar...the only yarn store in my little French town. I CO more than was required as I was in the mood for a bulkier scarf.
