I just finished reconstructing this huge XL mens flannel shirt into a cute shirtdress. I originally got the shirt at my local animal shelter (they have a thrift store to supply profits xD) and the thing was beyond huge.  So I got really excited today and at the spurt of the moment, I created a nice shirtdress in under 2 hours!
Pardon the bad quality of the photos, as I was using a Web Cam.


I'm sorry I couldn't post a picture of what the shirt looked like beforehand, b/c I was soooo excited to make this dress! Here's an acurate representation of the shirt pre-reconstruction to scale:

I have no clue if this is in the right board.
I supose it's a crafty houseware since I'm putting it on a wall.

Today was pretty rainy since a hurricane just hit the lower part of Texas.
I had nothing to do.
So I spent a good portion of my day making this rucksack for school.
Which isn't even till The end of August.
And then I spent a larger portion of my day making this tutorial for ya'll. :]
I hope ya'll take it into good use.
I'll be happy to answer any questions about the tutorial.

I'm sorry the title is a mouthful.
So anyways, I was really bored yesterday so I decided to make shoes instead of study for finals.
I had these pair of black converse that I never wore anymore so I revamped them to something more unique.
I hacked the tops off and added a piping(?) of this kitschy vintage rose fabric I found in a box in the attic. I added some purple buttons and make ankle straps out of the remaining fabric and sewed on burgundy button closures.

Hi.
I'm planning on donating my hair soon and was wondering whether short hair would look good on my face shape.
I was thinking of hair similar to this:

This is a picture of me:

All I know is that my face is either square or diamond shaped, but I'm not really sure.
I'm pretty much a hair virgin so I'm kind of apprehensive of how it's gonna turn out, but I know that somebody else need my hair much more than I do.
Oh. And my hair is very thick.
