yes! Shoddy Tutorial PLEASE!

it looks really great and I love how versatile this could be

the hood makes it easier to wear it casually, cuz the color and style make it quite schmancy otherwise...

ps: those wall things are quite cool! CONTACT PAPER?! i would've never guessed...they look like they could be made of metal...heheh

that's really so elegant!

I think the back kinda looks like a small flowy tail/cape...pretty cool...and the knot doesn't look so big from the pic...

aw, that is totally adorable!...good luck with your fashion career-ing!

also, everyone's costumes were really well done! (your's especially of course)

but I mean I could really easily discern the characters apart...yay, no one did a crappy job!...at my dress-up parties people think wearing jeans and a teal colored halter (for example) would do for jasmine's costume...hehe

gah...I would totally miss these people while in college, as I'm sure you will soon enough...they seem awesome!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Have you seen the gun show?...Baby Yellow Dress on: August 02, 2008 12:23:06 PM
Thanks guys!

it is really light, but the polyester-y fabric makes it kinda hot in the summer...

eh, oh well..it's wearable

This was totally retro style w/really intense black beaded work on half of a yellow dress...
no before pic, but this is what the beading looked like:
http://www.lizjewel.com/dresses/beadd2.jpg

not pretty when most have fallen off...anyways...I yellow part of the dress was pretty and felt nice, so i couldn't just let my mom throw it all away...nonono...

instead, we scraped the beads and I made a simple tube dress out of the yellow part...it's really flowy and breezy...I've already worn it to a picnic w/a light blue cardigan and it was quite the hit
 Grin

here it is:

sorry, i kinda went overboard w/ coloring it blue...started looking like muscles

there's this little flap under the bust:

it doesn't look to bad in person...
