I've started knitting, and I'm really loving the yarn I chose. It's soft and easy to knit with, and seems like it would be a dream to wear. Of course, I'm a slow knitter, so I won't be wearing it any time soon Wink

This is from the Lotta Jansdotter sewing book, which is really lovely for beginning sewers. It's a placemat/napkin/utensil holder, perfect for picnics and lunch breaks taken outside. I'm a beginner sewer myself, so this was great practice.







It's got a pocket for utensils, and rolls up & ties with a ribbon to throw into your bag or picnic basket.
