I was inspired by a very talented friend of mine to get into cake decorating.
This cake is my first attempt using marshmallow fondant
It is fruit cake covered in a layer of marzipan, then fondant
I was a little disappointed that i couldn't get a bright red and green colour using the food colouring i had but i have since bought gel food colours which are supposed to work better.

i'm having trouble figuring out how to bpdc decrease.

Any help is much appreciated.

I made up the cupcake as i went and the donut is my bro's first crochet project- the pattern was from crochetville i think

[absolute pain]

I have a cardigan pattern and beautiful soft wool but it dosen't knit to the right gauge and would be an absolute pain to knit with smaller needles.
Will it still work if i knit a size smaller than i usually wear with a larger gauge than the pattern suggests?

I just finished a most beautiful hat (if i do say so myself) that was knit in the round and has stripes.

Where the rounds join, there is a little step in the colour change over, is there any way to avoid this?

hello

can i felt something that has cables on it or will i lose the detail of the cable?
i ask because i am thinking of making a bag and am worried that it will have too much stretch and droop.

any help is much appreciated 

i was reading the recipes(of sorts) for lipgloss and couldn't believe how easy it is- just melt vaseline!
anyway after getting excited i thought about flavour options; im thinking nutella-yum!
any other suggestions?
