1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Kitty The Green Bunny... on: June 12, 2005 12:01:33 AM
http://dream-and-sugar.net/images/greenbunny01.jpg
Kitty is a baby bunny, and baby bunnies are called "kittens", but most of them aren't green. Kitty is green because he likes eating lots of grass and green crayons.

2  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Handspun Yarn on: June 05, 2005 08:23:12 PM
I don't know where else to post this so... Here are my latest spinning-ness!

Also, a couple questions:
1) I use a drop spindle, but can only spin 100-150 feet before it gets full... Do they make bigger drop spindles, or is there a way to connect one spun skein to a second without tying a knot?
2) I hang my yarn to dry after setting it, but is there any real reason it can't go in the dryer? I tried it with one skein, and it didn't felt up or anything, but are there any issues that might come up if I dry them like that?

Pengin the penguin.

These little guys took forever! And I've grown quite attached to them (but they're up for adoption). Pengin especially, he's so tiny! ^_^
Now I need to make new animals... Ideas?

I made these recently, and really like how they turned out. Unfortunately, the photos don't really do them justice. =[

Not that everyone and their grandmother doesn't make scarves, but I finally found some 100% wool, and it came out quite lovely. =]

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / My first wire wrap pendant ^_^ on: July 18, 2004 09:23:26 PM
Bought some wire and round nosed pliers today... I know it's nothing stunning, but I'm pretty happy with it since I didn't even have instructions... Opinions?

Looks better in real life. *sigh*
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / What can I do with this bag? on: July 18, 2004 08:43:04 PM
I just found this cute old camera case (? think that's what it is), and the strap needs replacing... But I was also thinking of doing something to dress it up a little. Maybe painting a design on it?
I don't think it's real leather, it feels like the kind of vinyl stuff you put on chairs. What kind of paint would stick to that, and how would I seal it? Or what else can I do to make it more fun? Thanks. =]
