Wow, that lovebird looks so lifelike! It took me a moment to figure out why wendiek was just showing pictures of her birds, haha.

Aye-ayes kind of creep me out, but that aye-ayecorn is great. I love his little graspy fingers and claws.

The Boo-yeti is adorable! I love her big smile, it looks like she loves dressing up.

Oh my goodness, the vampire squid is incredible! The attention to detail is really impressive, especially all the glowing bits.

That Brownie camera is perfect, what a lovely little stuffie! The embroidered details are really nice.

The toast is super cute! My favourite part is the heart shaped butter, it's a nice touch.

Oh my goodness that otter! What a sweet little face, and such detail on the snacks! I'm really impressed by all the crafty skills people have been showing off in this swap.

Wow, so many excellent stuffies!
The Queen of Hearts is just perfect! She looks wonderfully regal and poofy.
The pushmipullyu is fabulous, fantastic rendition of a fantastic creature.
What amazing detail in the zombie - the teeth make me a little uncomfortable, but I think that's kind of the point.  The dangling eye is a really nice touch, and using magnets is a wonderful idea!
Ollie Owl is very cute and huggable!

Mamarose22, the kitty you received is super cute! I like the way the variegated yarn gives her stripes.

I received today from StudioANF and I love it! She needle felted me a delightful little Ood! He is wonderfully detailed - I especially like the bead she used for the translator orb. He's going into the collection. (I have a collection of Ood now!)

Sheldon pigeon is excellent! And the crocheted robin is really cute and cuddly looking.

Batman owl is a perfect combination! Creatures of the night. And what a lovely drawing of a kiwi! Those are some impressive skills for sure.

I picked up my package from my mom's place this weekend, and the owl and his entourage are safely in my possession. The upholstery fabric gives him a solid, regal bearing. I have him hung in my home office; his disapproving eyebrows remind me to get back to work when my mind wanders too far. He is so fabulous. Two of the little birds keep me company on my desk. It was all three, before a certain cat absconded with the brown one. I believe it has a home in his bed now - a surrogate nest. Thank you so much for your patience and for resending, cmarion3! I really love my birds.

I'm so excited to meet my birds in person! I love all the little details, the buttons and beads - there's so much to look at! The bead monocle is a very nice touch, and I really like the twig as both beak and perch.  I am still quite saddened by the wayward owl's adventures, though - the contrast between the fabrics was very striking, though I also like the muted tones of the one waiting for me.  I hope someone else is enjoying the original set of birds as much as I would have.
