1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Wire Crocheted Bracelet on: May 17, 2007 09:27:07 AM
Thanks all!  Just got back from a two week working vacation and sure glad to be home.  Anyhoo, just saw the replies and wanted to, again, thank you.

The bracelet, because it's done with the 24 gauge wire stays on really well.  And, because of ya'll I'm imspired enough to make more.  Ain't this a great group of people?!!

Thank you all so much!  I'm so new on the board and it means so much to have others opinions and appreciation.  I'm so in love with making the flowers!

Thank you Riario.  I got my first beading book in the mail yesterday and that poppy was the beginner project.  So, I guess it's probably pretty simple, but oh how I enjoyed doing it!  I'm just having too much fun!

Absolutely beautiful.  I just discovered beaded flowers last week and already have 4 books and have made a poppy that I put on a post just a few minutes ago.

Your's are beautiful!  I'm having so much fun with these.  I think they're addictive!

Wow, really nice!  Love how it's so different than many of the netted chokers seen on the net.  Just beautiful!

Hi all:  I made a bow, then made a few dorky flowers, a few leaves and started putting them together and came out with this.

I enjoyed this so much I started researching beaded flowers and then ordered some books.  I made the poppy brooch today.  Hope you like it.

I love it!  Thank you so much.

For some reason most of what I make ends up turning into jewelry, so, here's my take on your wonderful idea (which I do thank you so much for!):

Wow Tiama, thanks.  I'll never remember that discription, but I'm sure glad I didn't try and explain!   Cheesy

Thank you.  And yes, it was a decorative panel that fit overtop the cupboard.  I truly think though I need to replace DH's aunt's little geese with hearts... Grin.  But that will happen soon.

I just took it as it was and put it up.  The clip hangers hold that skidsafe material used in cupboards and the jewelry is put in small clear plastic jewelry bags and pined on.

I have scads of jewelry in cases I need to pin up and will shortly, but it's nice having it in the open like that.

I figured I could add another 18 screws to the top for more hanging necklaces as well.

Mezo, gee, it's hard to explain.  Maybe someone else can help me explain.
