I didn't touch the machine itself. I kinda like the retro look of it. I just wiped it down to get rid of the funk...hahaha

I'm 26, mom to 6 year old boy. Studied Police Foundations at Niagara College, applying this year, also getting married this year. Wow my life in one sentance..HA!

Ok I hope this goes here. I just got this machine in addition to my others. I needed a heavy duty machine to make dog harnesses for our sled team. This is what I did to the machine, cuz it was ugly and smelled funny, or smelled more like something died in it..... Tongue I peeled the lovely wood grain sticker guck off, washed it down, then primed it with 2 layers of Killz primer, to kill the mold stained wood. Then I covered it in a lovely Michael Miller Mod print fabric. Then painted the bottom inside and out with a pretty pink metallic paint. I need to spray it still with a lacquer.

I'll come!!! But can you teach me?? LOL I used to knit and crochet like 2 years ago, but don't know if I could remember how to do it now... Sad. I am a fast learner.... Grin

Hey all anyone from the Niagara Region here? Like ST. Catharines, Welland, Niagara Falls etc? I'm new here and want to make friends with some crafty people. My friends suck...I'm kidding I love them to pieces...the 2 that I have...... Grin I would love to host a craft night or something at my home so that's why I am inquiring. Hopefully I can figure out this site too...lol. SO many things to see and do.
