I've got everything done I'm just waiting for things to dry. Its so humid here (South Carolina,US). Even in the house with the air conditioning running things are taking twice as long to dry. I hate waiting. Maybe I'll make something else to send while I'm waiting. Something that doesn't require drying
Welcome back to the world of crafting! I'm also trying to overcome my fear of making mistakes, so I totally understand where your coming from there. This forum helps that tremendously by challenging you to do new things or old things in a new way. You can show what you did, or not. Its very freeing.
Your self description sounds alot like my son. He looks like a bear and tries to act like a bear, but he's really just a bunny. I love that about him
I'm just south of Greenville SC, about an hour and a half north of Atlanta. I must warn you, this place is so full of great stuff you will start doing all kinds of cool crafts that you never thought of before.
Good luck with your sewing, I look forward to seeing what you make.
I've been trying different types of bases. So far I like watercolor paper and canvas paper, but I hate cutting them. I bought some playing cards today (on sale 2 packs for $1). Can anyone tell me how to prep them to paint on?
