My daughter had some crazy hair this morning, so I decided to crochet her a headband.  It matches perfect with her yellow dress that has pink and purple embroidered flowers on the front.

ok well my partner received and hasn't posted pics, so I thought I'd get some up.......since she is probably busy getting ready to move out of the country!

Here is a hello kitty box...the face pops out from the top.

Here are the sides of the box:

A Hello Kitty beaded bracelet.....I was so excited to find a Hello Kitty pattern for my bead loom!

And a Hello Kitty bottle cap pendant.  The Hello Kitty face is made of Polymer.  Smiley  I was inspired by Kishcrafts and all of her wonderful bottlecap pendants!

Then of course I threw in other stuff...I don't remember all, but some Hello Kitty fruit snacks and pens for sure!  Smiley

Of course I don't have the pictures of my son after he decided it was more fun to paint HIMSELF....he was covered in paint...but it was cute!  In case your wondering, they are painting with finger paints on old sheets......

15  My DHs new Master Chief shirt!! in Stenciling: Completed Projects by MnkyMama on: September 01, 2007 07:05:11 AM
I was inspired by this post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=160940.0

and created my hubby a new shirt!

He loves it.  It took me some time to cut out all the little bitty pieces, but it was worth it.

Now a question for the more experienced stencilers (since this was only my second one)  Does is work to laminate the front of the stencil before cutting to try to help save it.  This stencil had so many tiny areas I couldn't keep it in tact for another shirt.....but after the fact thought I should have laminated it before hand....would that work?  that would still leave the waxy side to the shirt.........

19  Re: Altoid Tin Theme Swap Round 7 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by MnkyMama on: August 23, 2007 06:20:50 AM
I received yesterday from Balkandina!! She chose my Candyland theme..which honestly I don't even remember putting down....lol.....but  it turned out cute.......here's the loot:

My tin was yellow (my fav color) and had a cute pink trim and on top it is covered in lollipops and ice cream cones.  Unfortunately the sticks on the lollipops and cherries on the ice cream didn't make it...good thing, I, like any good crafter, have lots of glue to fix it.  Inside was a fortune cookie pendant, cupcake pendant and 2 candyland microslides.  Very cute.

almost immediately my daughter grabbed the ice cream earrings from me and put them on.......she loves them!  She wore them when we took the boys to a doctors appointment and everyone loved them.

Here is the front:

Here is a close up (the batman is actually the back of his favorite underwear...lol.....)

Here is the back..it is just random fabric I had:

and my FAV fabric ever...the coolest batman fabric I've seen:
