I'm home sick (with H1N1... unreal, I know) and I am beyond bored. (It's day #13)
So Anyway, Here's some ideas for an apple orchard themed wedding!

Love this centerpiece idea:

12  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Moishe - Where The Wild Things Are Painting on: October 20, 2009 03:22:06 PM
Well, I made this a couple of years ago, but I figured that right now would be the perfect time to show it off!
I haven't seen the movie yet, but the commercial is calling this guy Carol. I'm pretty sure his name was Moishe, though.

My mom was a dedicated book reader when we were kids, and this was a favorite.
(This and Katarina and the Box)

Enjoy!

13  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Photobooth favors... Help please! on: October 15, 2009 05:31:46 AM
Hello!

Sooo, I rented a vintage photobooth for our wedding (9.12.2010) and, in lieu, of favors, I would like to encourage people to take their photo strips home (unlimited pictures and we get a CD at the end)

I was thinking, maybe I would make photo strip size envelopes and put them in a basket next to the booth...

What should I put on the front? Just like "Thank You for Celebrating with Us"?

I'll probably papercraft/scrapbook the envelopes, so I should get started on them pretty soon.

Thanks!!

Also... you don't think it will look bad if I just order in Wildflowers from jewel, have my little sister tie them into bunches, and let my bridesmaids carry them down the aisle, do you?
My friend just got married on Saturday, and, although her flowers were stunning... they were over $2,000...
and it just seemed a little wasteful to me, as we all left without them at the end of the night.
14  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Resin? Questions from a newbie on: June 07, 2007 03:48:18 PM
Hola everyone! Im way way new at craftster, so if Im posting in the wrong sections PLEASE let me know!

I recently saw this cute display in a magazine
It was a vase with big fake colorful daisies and instead of rocks or sand in the bottom, they had put multi colored buttons!
So cute!
Anyway, Im afraid that tiny hands and giant paws might somehow knock something like that over and we'd have a button-fest. Can I use some sort of resin to seal it in? Like those really expensive ones at home stores? (the ones that look like water a little bit)
