11  Re: 73 Train Tickets in What the heck can I do with THIS? by Phebee on: June 16, 2007 11:18:18 AM

Here we are! Here's the truly unique bag.

I used clear parcel tape to stick everything together and two old belts for the handles. I made a nice pattern on each side with different coloured tickets - and I still have 19 left!. Cheers for all the help and inspiration.

12  73 Train Tickets in What the heck can I do with THIS? by Phebee on: June 13, 2007 09:35:40 AM

I have 73 of these tickets. They're made of card and are 5.5cm by 8.5cm. Some have a hole punched in them. What shall I do with them?

13  Hamlet Themed Board Game in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Phebee on: May 25, 2007 08:57:57 AM

Here's a picture of a Hamlet themed board game, called Ho-ratio, (because he's our favourite character)  I made for my friend Amy as a leaving present. We've been studying it in English and there's only been mainly two of us in the class.

This is a close up of the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, King Claudius, and Gertrude game pieces. I used a Frustration game which I took apart and put back together again.

This is young Osric, Polonius, Laertes and Ophelia. I made the heads with 4 tablespoons of flour, 1 tablespoon of salt and enough water to make it stick together. I then cooked them in the oven at gas mark 0.5 (basically the lowest our cooker goes) for 15 minutes. I then painted each with acrylic paints.

I guess you could make one for anything. I'd like to make a Harry Potter one next. Any comments would be welcome!
