1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Help with a recon! on: May 29, 2010 08:21:43 PM
I'm just about done with this shirt except one problem...which could be fatal for the shirt since it's already tighter than I was planning on...But I guess I can show a few rolls...lol

I started with this shirt...

And cut it and sewed it up the sides then added some stretch lace to make it a halter top...

Problem is this: Since the tutorial I was using suggested cutting the shirt out in kind of an hour glass shape I did...and I think that is what gave me THIS problem

See how that has a weird pooch out place there? Arg!  And I didnt really think it would look that bad being tight as I usually don't mind but seeing this pic makes me notice all of those rolls!  I'm not as tiny as I used to be!

I was planning on wearing this to a DEFTONES concert tomorrow night but looks like I may have botched this, any ideas on what to do to make this shirt better?  Thanks...Oh and sorry about the pics, Im the only one here so can't get help taking the pics and it's night so not good lighting!
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Outdoor craft a long? on: April 04, 2010 07:26:28 PM
I'm wanting to spruce up our backyard...it's not fenced but it's a pretty good neighborhood.  We don't have a lot of fundage so I want to try to find crafty ways to fix it up as well as of course adding plants etc.  My youngest is 16 months old and loves to be outside so I want to make it pretty to enjoy when we are out there...You guys want to jump in and post things you make to pretty up your outdoor area?  I think it'd be fun!  Cheesy
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Weeblock on: June 21, 2008 03:38:32 PM
Anyone seen those little wee blocks you put over a baby boys penis to prevent the "pee shower"?  Any ideas on how to make one?
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Patience on: April 12, 2007 06:29:04 PM
I am having a *HARD* time learning patience.  I have TONS of projects that I have the stuff to do but dont want to start them because I know i will rush through them and not be happy with the end results.  I have no patience and want everything to be finished quickly...I want the satisfaction of it being done NOW....how do you overcome this and slow down and enjoy your projects and have them done right the first time also.   Lips sealed

(I work a full time job so dont have much time to sew so when I do I go to fast and take too many shortcuts)
