Plain and simple inside.

So I just whipped up this little sling bag and I'm quite proud of it. I thought I'd share it. It was really quite easy to make and I could try to make a tut if anyone's interested. Comments and critiques welcome. 

Ohh... Tempting, but I'm afraid my man isn't very supportive of swaps since the postal service here in Italy sucks and cost like way too much.

Here's an excerpt from puzzler's questionnaire:
- Favorite colors? Gray, green, blue, black
- Least favorite colors?  Pink, flashy colors or prints
- Please name at least 5 crafted items that you would love to receive: earrings, mittens, socks, wallet, zippered pouch (at least 10-11 inches long), stationery, etc.
- What kinds of craft supplies would you like to receive? Natural yarn, handmade yarn, fabric (preferably cotton, but any is good), big crochet hooks (the biggest I have is K) etc.
- Are there any patterns/designs that you love? I like organic patterns, simple patterns or solid colors.
- Are there any patterns/designs that you can't stand? I don't like flashy, shiny things.
- What are some of your favorite things/styles/themes? I like simple, modest, organic things.  I like things with purpose, natural fabrics or yarns.
- Are there any items you would not wish to receive? No homemade food please.
- Are there any specific snacks/candies you would love to receive?  Anything with chocolate.  Pretzels, chocolate covered raisins or acai would be great.

I love fat-quarters in funky prints, glass beads (at least a 6/0 size, no smaller please), embroidery floss, small charms, ribbons, buttons and silk thread.

Cartoony designs, or big aggressive floral patterns.
- What are some of your favorite things/styles/themes?
I'm a total geek, so robots, star trek, computers with faces, that kind of thing is awesome. I also love zakka-style and patchwork.
- Are there any specific snacks/candies you would love to receive?
I love love love gummy-anything, and sticky-chewy candies. I also like salty-sweet stuff, like peanut brittle.
- Any snacks that you do not wish to receive?
I'm picky about my chocolate, so please don't send that.

I don't think many people are still following this thread since most of us have received and send. Thursday will be already 1 month from the actual sent-out date. I'm really sorry to say we have flakers. Because this swap was kinda right smack between the holidays (not exactly because send-out was 13 days before Christmas), I decided to allow people more time to sent their packages. Unfortunately I was wrong. It is unfair to their partners whom have been waiting and have to wait some more while I get them angels. I apologize to those who have been flaked on.

I received today from sinellia and what a great package it was! I loved everything! She said she should have send more stuff but I think this is a-plenty already! Instead, I think I should have send more stuff.  Sorry for the slightly blurry pics. Only have access to my cellphone right now. Check out the loot:

I never thought it was that fun to unwrap items one by one. I should have done the same! The whole loot!
Supplies: Small embroidery hoop, blue fimo, blue yarn(with market tote pattern on the underside) and a really cute little cross-stitch kit.
Snacks: 4 packs of different flavoured yummy chocolates. Popping them while typing this.
Crafted items: Poppy pendant(my fav!), rose ring(super nice details) and cute card wallet.
And of course a nice card.
