1  Vol25 patterns, my first 2 embroideries in Needlework: Completed Projects by *crystal* on: October 07, 2008 07:25:58 AM
vol25 came out with some new patterns of her artwork to embroider. I have her artwork and had to make some matching towels. I still have 2 more designs to go and thought I would share.

Again this is the first time I have ever hand embroidered and I am almost positive I used the wrong kind of towels lol I JUST LOVER HER WORK!

she has some free patterns on her flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/vol25embroidery/ you can see here original artwork here: http://vol25.etsy.com

4  My fabric storage in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by *crystal* on: September 17, 2007 07:08:06 AM
I finally took the pludge and took all my fabrics out of the bins. I got the inspiration from http://www.flickr.com/photos/splityarn/46446744/  and she got the idea from http://soulemama.typepad.com/soulemama/2005/06/transformations.html

Well I went out on saturday and bought this beautiful bookcase from target and wrapped away.

Here is a picture of the stuffy and the picture of my ferret Tonic. I use him as my model for all my stuff.

7  Ferret hanging Cube in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by *crystal* on: September 11, 2007 06:42:11 AM
I make a lot of ferret bedding and just recently had some spare time. So I whipped out one of my favorite fabrics that I was hoarding in my stash and made a cube for ferrets.

Enjoy!

9  Re: Business Card/Promo Item Swap #2 (SIGNUP CLOSED,SEND OUT 9/14) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by *crystal* on: August 30, 2007 06:08:28 AM
casslyra, I know you'll make it work and you'll look like a really hot pumpkin.   Wink

Fortunately, the tree climbing is on Friday and the wedding is on Saturday.  Bless the bride - she gave us a style and said "it just needs to be black" and then let us go get our own dresses.  I found mine for $50 and will definitely wear it again.  Plus it is really flattering so that I can eat/drink waaaaayyy too much in it and not look pregnant!!  Hehe.

I did the same for my wedding. I told the bridesmaids to just choose any dress they want the only requirements were that it had to be red and floor length.

here is the out come:

10  Re: Button / Badge / Pin Makers in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by *crystal* on: August 24, 2007 12:27:14 PM
I got my dr dons machine off of ebay for 150.00, I get my parts from buttonmakers.net, the machine is so simple! You can whip out buttons super fast and the cost per a button is very inexpensive.

here is a picture of my store 1 inch buttons:
