1  More X-mas cards 2008 in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by carlisleorama on: November 29, 2008 08:41:40 PM
Just thought I would share my Christmas cards, the first craft I've felt was good enough to actually share in awhile! Not that they're anything too special... I could still use some craft schoolin'.
For the front of the cards I downloaded a photo of a burning christmas tree from the deviantart.com stock photo section. I wanted to do something a bit more creative in it with photoshop, but I ended up thinking the image looked best when I simply inverted the colors. I made a bunch of color copies, glued them to cardstock and then stamped some snowflakes and the bird on, followed by glitter glue highlights.

Sorry it's so blurry... couldn't use the flash without too much reflection, and I have some shaky hands.

The inside is the same bird stamp repeated on blue paper and a "seasons greetings" stamp on tracing paper, sewn in with random machine stitching.

And then I made some envelopes. Wheeeee! Roll Eyes

Too bad the envelope picture came out the best... oh well, hope these help to inspire a bit!
