I am trying to find something to preserve the image because the bag is and will be used on a daily basis and putting it up isn't an option.  The image is under the messenger flap so it is pretty protected from the elements and fading, etc. but I want to try and find something to make sure it doesn't smear, etc over time.

Hi there!

So, a good friend has a bag that my brother freehanded an octopus on in ink pen.  I am not sure what kind of pen it was except that it does smudge when it gets wet.  The bag is leather and the octopus is under a flap so it is kept pretty well protected.  However, my brother recently passed away and said friend is desperate to make sure nothing happens to the drawing. 

My question - how can he preserve the drawing without smudging it?  I recently saw a leather sealant but since it is water based I am afraid the image will bleed or smudge.

Just stopping in for a second to say hi!  I am guessing I am not claiming this round

I am still in SC and probably will be for another week.  Our little week's vacation has turned into the 3 week trip from you know where and my son is begging to go home.  He has really been an angel though with all the people crying and given everyone some much needed comic relief.  He even got up, went to the podium and tried to speak at the memorial service.

On a brighter note, our house has an offer on it so I may actually get to go for real house hunting soon!!

So house hunting yesterday was a major bust.  I disliked everything about the day from our agent to the area and the houses in said area.  I should have a new agent on Monday from the relocation company so my fingers are crossed for better results next week...We have had 3 showings of our WPB house though! 

I have not crafted a thing since I have been gone but maybe today I can get some knitting done!

USPS says that my partner's package has arrived, but I know she's out of town. So I might post pics of what I sent her soon.

Please do!!  It will be over a week before I get home to my goodies!

Hi all!

Just popping in to say Sky and I have made it to SC and we had our first showing of our house in FL yesterday!  Tomorrow I am driving back to Jacksonville and I have 14 houses to look at -wish me luck!!
