2  Very beginner knitter, lucked into a bunch of yarn in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by shannon12 on: July 16, 2007 07:28:52 PM
That I now have no idea what to do with! I went to a supply swap and got some of this and the rest was given to me by someone who bought it and decided they didn't want to knit any more.

Here is what I got

God knows how old this stuff is  Grin

Can anyone lead to to some beginner patterns or something that I can use this stuff on? Any help would be much appreciated. (I am in no way averse to knitting scarfs!) Thanks guys.

5  My first attempt with Shrinky Dinks!! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by shannon12 on: July 06, 2007 10:38:48 AM
After seeing all your posts, I was in Michael's and decided to pick up some shrinky dinks. I remember them from childhood, but never used them (mom wouldn't let us have toys that needed to go in the oven!)

So here is my first attempt...I found the image online and drew it on
The pics arent quite showing the color so I put a few so you can get an idea

I used the toaster oven because it is too hot for the big oven. It took barely a min. to shrink and it was so cool watching it! I love this stuff. Let me know what you think!!

10  Re: Newbies Only Swap Round 4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by shannon12 on: May 25, 2007 07:44:03 PM
Well here are the pics from Lindsey's Awesome Package.....

Up first...Super cool bag in my Fave. colors

Inside the bag w/ all the little goodies

Everything in their little bags and tags lol

All the pins in the bags are interchangeable with the one already on there. Each pin has to do with some thing I like (the next 3 are Beatles songs)

And this super cool one from A Nightmare Before Christmas

Some super cute balls she made for my pets

And the only action shot I could get of one of my animals with one of the balls lol

Lindsey, I can't say thank you enough, everything was truly awesome.
