1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / anyone made lingerie? on: January 21, 2004 07:54:26 AM
i am a burlesque performer and want to make more of my own costumes. does anyone have any experience in making or altering undies, or other lingerie? either the kind made of lace/ flimsy material or stretchy fabrics.  i also want to add some fringe and other sparkly detail to some hot pants/undies and am afraid to attempt it and screw up the undies. i'd appreciate any advice.
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / light switches on: December 02, 2003 08:45:26 AM
i have these great retro cards that i want to copy & glue onto light switches for little x-mas gifts. does anyone know what the best adhesive for this would be? paper to plastic, and it has to stay smooth, not bubble. i usually use acrylic medium for collage work or even a glue stick, and a glue gun for heavier stuff.
maybe wallpaper glue?  thanx.
