91  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / hoodie question on: April 08, 2007 08:50:20 PM
Hello all. I am new to sewing with a few totes/purses under my belt. I have the fabric all cut out to make my DD a Baja-hoodie except i can not find all the directions to the pattern. Can someone give me a quick breakdown or point me to a tut??

THANKS!

I just got my sewing machine Tuesday curtisy of my mom (thanks) and I knew it was coming so I've been lurking here. I started out with a bag for my daughter since we are going to visit my mom tomorrow for 2 weeks, she needed something to hold all her scoobys in and some other toys to bring for the trip, she is 2. DH says the fabric (walmart .91$ for just over yrd) is retro looking, perfect for scooby.

The one with the handles was my 2nd attempt, the seams didn't come out that great, but my daughter has been using that too. The 3rd one is the pink one which is the Sha Sha but my measurements were a bit off & it came out a little smaller than it should have

The 4th is Tinker Bell for my girlfriend I haven't seen in a year, she is a tinkerbell freak and when we go home to visit I will bring it over to her. It's actually dark purple not blue

These are my practice bags my next one for me will be a square tote with side (out) pockets, zippered pocket on the inside and a magnetic closure.....I think I may be ready for all of this. Any Suggestions?? Thanks!

Hello All, I am new to here and brand new to sewing. I just started this week and have completed 4 bags 2 of which were Jordys, 1 with the correct measurements, lol, the original ruler I used was screwy or maybe it was me. I've been lurking for 2 weeks looking at all the completed projects, what inspiration I have gotten.

Anyways I want to make pretty much a tall square tote and need to make pockets on sides (outer) to hold kid cups/bottle but don't want it to look like a diaper bag. Any suggestions or direction to a tut on that style tote and I can just add the side pockets?

Thanks
