22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bed Sheet Wedding Dress (pic-zilla) on: April 28, 2010 11:35:16 AM
Very pretty and I love the bottom ruffle.

Did you consider if you wear it for your wedding dress--after-- to dye it some vibrant color and to wear it as a summer dress?? I think you could definitely get away with it.

Also I was reading your blog (cracking up) did you pick the dresses for your girls yet? What about the convertible dress, and make it knee length? Stunning and versatile.  Good Luck!!

Oh wow that came out great for last minute and all. But I think the tie gave it the final touch, nice job!!

Wow, what an incredible difference!  I agree on the canisters they look like owls.

Your floor looks like the one we tore out of our kitchen after we bought our place. 80's no more.

Great chair redo. I have been searching -thriftly- for a barrel type chair to do. (thank god it's almost yard sale season!) Going to check out the blog now, thanks.

WOW, love 'em. I have been looking for 3-4 kitchen chairs to redo since I have the lawn furniture temporatily standing in. This has definitely opened my eyes! THanks. Love the none matchy match.

OH I love it. I saw a nice small one very similar to this at a yard sale for $5 and I kick myself in the butt everytime I think about it. My DD is 5 and her life revolves around her artwork. Thanks for sharing!!

Love it. I think you did a great job. I just redid a cover pad for my DD booster seat. (Not what I wanted, but what she wanted-there's pics on here somewhere). I hope you saved your pattern, an extra one would come in handy for washings!
29  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Skirts for baby, headbands, and baby sling... on: April 20, 2010 02:45:31 PM
Very cute. I am sure your SIL will love it. I really like the off whitish print skirt, very pretty fabric. I think maybe now that my DD is into skirts I will make her one of these.

Get some action shots!
30  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Re: ideas for diaper patterns?? on: April 13, 2010 10:31:03 AM
There is so much info out there that it will make your head spin. I researched it for when my DS was going into pullups. I made 2, he liked them and luckily for me only peed in them a few times.

If you just google Sew cloth diapers or sew cloth aio or whatever one you are looking for you will find lots of info. I like to look under Images b/c you can tell if it's something you may want to really look at ...

Also here are 2 good sites just from googling

GOOD LUCK!
