1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Take your camera to work day! (earrings and beaded trees) on: July 09, 2009 06:15:47 PM
I recently got a new camera, and between that and wanting a picture of some of my jewelry I decided to take it to work (at a bead store) and get some photos. Cheesy

Made with chain and jump rings.  I also have some that are jump rings about that size connected by wirewrapped swarovskis.

My first attempt at a tree pendant.

Autumn!

Aaaand a silver one.
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Pop-up birthday card on: June 03, 2008 04:45:13 PM
Because what six year old wouldn't want a 3D card?

Screen printed card.  I made a TON of these as gifts and for artwalk...

4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Aung San Suu Kyi t-shirt on: May 20, 2008 01:52:02 PM
My friend recently came home from college and we celebrated by tie-dying t-shirts.  We were a little disappointed with the results (the dye we bought was terrible), so today in my rainy day summer reading procrastinationness I decided to add a stencil.  I've been meaning to make a shirt dedicated to the Burmese pro-democracy leader Suu Kyi for a while now...she's someone I really admire and not enough people know about her.  I hope that wearing this shirt will get people to ask questions!

I can't decide whether to cut the neckline and sleeves off or just leave it...what do you guys think?

5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / macro photo challenge: bug on artichoke on: April 20, 2008 07:13:50 PM

6  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Mini pictures on home page won't show up on: February 10, 2008 11:19:29 AM
I'm getting green squares instead of pictures on the home page for hot new projects, newest projects, and craftster challenge.  The featured projects pictures work fine.  I miss that feature!  Did I change a setting somehow or is that a problem for everyone now?
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Spring-y necklace, just in time for fall! on: September 01, 2007 04:41:15 PM

I took this baby home from work to finish it and couldn't resist taking pictures. Tongue  It's 3mm swarovski crystals, peredot (who can resist peredot? it's so friendly) and gold filled chain.  I think it ended up being somewhere over 40 wirewrappings.

Horrible picture, but you see how it falls.  Grin  Do you think I should make it longer?  It's to sell (but not online, so I'm not advertising!) and I think my neck is smaller than average.

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Displaying photos? on: May 17, 2007 10:03:08 AM
I'm finally getting around to printing some of my digital pictures through shutterfly (they have 20 free prints offeres every several months, yay!).  But now I have around 25 pictures and now way to display them in a cool way (and 25 takes up more space than you'd think).  I don't have a ton of wall space and I don't want to have to buy anything over a few dollars.  I figured you craftsters could come up with something brilliant for me. Cheesy

Please do not say collage.  I don't want to cut them in any way.
9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Fabric samples on: April 21, 2007 05:46:31 PM
So a billion years I got a ton of fabric samples from the scrap exchange.

I don't know what to do with them.  I have almost no sewing skills past pillow cases, and a sewing machine that's older than my mom.  My best idea is to do a crazy bag with a bajillion different colored pockects.  What can I do?

Here's the label, if that helps.

10  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Seashell crafts? on: April 11, 2007 02:04:39 PM
I went to the beach over spring break and brought back tons of these flat, smooth bits of shell.  I've tried making earrings with them, but I don't have that many pairs to work with.  Can anyone think of anything else I can do with them (besides mosaics)?
