1  Re: Cold Feet and 20 minutes of time.... Tutorial in Crochet: Completed Projects by runswithhookers on: May 11, 2007 12:49:37 AM
I decided to give it a go. =)
I used one strand of Lion Brand's Jiffy with an I hook. So soft. So fuzzy. It took about a half hour all together. =)

I used chains instead of a strap so I could tie them into a bow. =]
(they look like they are all hanging open at the top, but they aren't. It's just the way my feet were squished together.)

My aunt saw them and wants a pair with a sole on them so she can wear them to work. =] Now, to find some soles...

3  Rolled up clutch/wallet! =) (Image Heavy!) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by runswithhookers on: April 03, 2007 01:02:03 AM
Ok, soooo it's both crochet AND a bag. So, I hope it's ok that I post this here.... =)

I just finished it.
The color is a light purple, but my camera doesn't like colors to well.
Didn't use a pattern. Cheesy

4  Finished bag. =) in Crochet: Completed Projects by runswithhookers on: April 01, 2007 11:01:56 PM
I decided I needed to make myself a bag instead of just making them for everyone else.
Soooo, here's my one-of-a-kind bag!

Close up of stitches (mostly the way they bisect)

The pictures make it look like it's kind of jumbled up. It's not. It's just the way it was laying when I hurriedly snapped some photos before my batteries died.

I didn't use a pattern and I got the buttons from my friend's mother (who decided to let me have free range over her button collection).
