1  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Okay, now I'm addicted... love the pinups! on: October 13, 2008 02:03:13 PM
My first sublime stitching pattern-- and I'm hooked!
This is just a tea towel for a friend... but what fun! Smiley

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Composed Mitts... on: April 01, 2008 12:16:30 PM
My first adventure into Fair Isle!
The pattern is from Interweave Knits, Winter 2007, I think.
Very fun knit, though tucking in all those ends takes forever!

(Oops! Busted!)
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Debbie Bliss cashmerino classic cardigan on: June 20, 2007 09:45:21 AM
This is the classic cardigan from the Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino book. I actually used her baby cashmerino yarn (for once I used the actual yarn the pattern was written for!) and it was very pleasant to work with. I can't say the same about the DB pattern book... I've had a lot of trouble with unclear or incorrect directions, so beginners beware!

The best part about it is the Peter Rabbit buttons I found at my LYS... Smiley

(Sorry about the rotten photos-- I'll post more later!)
Thanks for looking!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Very cute ugg-style booties on: March 30, 2007 04:21:25 PM
Okay, so I watched an episode of Knitty Gritty (DIY network in the US) and they made these little booties... so I just had to make them too!

The pattern is free on the DIY website:

http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/na_knitting/article/0,2025,DIY_14141_3148516,00.html

The pattern is very easy to follow and look! No DPNs! Anyway, I entered them in our local fair and was very excited to win a 1st! (I know, I know, it sounds like I'm gloating, but if you knew how many unfinished sweaters I have laying around you'd understand!)

What do you think?
