1  Re: Halloween altoids tin swap GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by laughsforfree on: October 23, 2009 09:24:18 PM
Finally I got some pictures! My tin was so cute, although some may say it was creepy! Lol, I love zombies and I think this tin shows it!

Here is everything together. It's a tombstone with a hand poking out, but I think the creepy doll head might be blocking the hand a bit. The inside was neat and I loved the way the tombstone popped against the matte black

There's also earring made of fabric (how did you do it?) in the color of zombies. I loved them and wore them to work the next day! The little pumpkin seems to be made the same way, it's too cute!

And here's the head (dun dun dun!) I had fun with this little thing and my little sisters loved it! I love the detail in the scratches and the nose. I will def be taking it with me tomorrow to the San Antonio Zombie Walk!

I also got some little confetti which will come in handy soon since I'm having a Halloween party and extra grass, in case it falls off, so thoughtful!

I don't have very good pictures right now, so if you have any kinipayla, feel free to post and I will post better ones as soon as I find my darn camera cord!

2  Our Halloween Party (lots of pictures1 in Halloween Decor and Parties by laughsforfree on: October 21, 2008 02:27:19 PM
Im not sure if I can post pictures of our party, but I figure if I show all the costume we put together and not the store bought ones it would be ok. Let me know if there is anything wrong, please!

First, the decorations

she was made out of plastic bags and a hanger!

paper mache hands, newspaper we just poured blood and grass over!

the inside was pretty much spier webs!

next food: just sugar! not such a good combo with the alcohol!

my friend and i made all of these and barely anyone ate any! we were so sad, but it was fun making them!

it was my boyfriends birthday, so we made him this cake. the headstone is fondant and the skeleton and rats are rubber.

Some of the costumes:
There's a ton more, but I don't have them on this computer.

my friend and the cupcake we made for him. his outfit was completely thrifted.

this is he and I. I am girl Luigi. I made my dress and had a green tutu underneath. I also had to spray paint the hat because I couldn't find any green hats at all!

my friend who was mickey mouse. we found all her clothes too, and yes, we went for the boy version of our costumes, not sure why?

my boyfriend and me! we thrifted his overalls and shirt and then decorated his hat.

There's more pictures, but I feel like this is already way too much! Thank you for looking!

3  Re: zombie prom queen - any ideas? in Halloween Costumes by laughsforfree on: September 20, 2008 02:25:11 PM
my boyfriend and i were prom king and queen last year, and i loved it! i was trying to be this again this year, but i was like no, let it go. anyways, i just bought a cheapy dress from forever 21, i made sure it had something to it, like sparkles or rhinestones, just to give it a "prom feeling" i also went to walmart and found sashes in the wedding section. i had my roommate write prom queen/king 07 on it in gold puffy paint. i didn't have any blood on my dress but since it was all over my face, and arms, it worked.

excuse the blue strap, i was dead and didn't know any better!

if you want to see more pictures, or of my boyfriend in his zombie prom king costume you can look at myspace. myspace.com/razzlelastnamedazzle

as for how you died, maybe there was a fire during prom, if you know how to do burned make-up and you could burn the clothes alittle to give it that look (if you get a different dress or change your mind about your prom dress.) or maybe there was some sort of gas (think planet terror) that changed you all, and you could give yourself make up with a green tint. these are just ideas, try to be a creative as you can, it's fun to give yourself a backstory!

4  21 birthday cupcakes. in Dessert by laughsforfree on: June 19, 2008 01:28:54 PM
This is my first post! I've been looking at this site for a long time though! I was so inspired by all of these neat desserts that I really wanted to try. It hasn't been going the best, what with a horrible marshmallow fondant attempt, but I'm ok at cupcakes. I even offered to make my friend cupcakes. He turned 21 and being that we are poor college students, no one wanted to pay up for a cake. So, here they are:

they are my own version of s'mores cupcakes (after failing to follow the reicpe) and baby blue sprinkles, because that's his favorite color. All the cupcakes were chocolate with chocolate chip, and thankfully everyone loved them!
