1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Warmth for Iraq on: September 14, 2008 08:33:46 AM
My husband was deployed, so I made him a blanket to take with him. The inner border is fun fur (teddy bear fabric) and the outer border, backing, and binding (which is the backing folded over) is all super soft velour. He loves it and reports that he uses it all the time since the AC is cold when he sleeps.

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Some Jordy goodness *IMG heavy* on: March 04, 2008 04:31:00 PM
So I felt like making a couple of Jordy's this past weekend. The grey one is the standard size, while the red one is about 4 inches taller. Enjoy!! I did use magnetic snaps in them because I hate the sound of velcro when I am in public or my oft times quiet office.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Tote bag on: December 03, 2007 08:44:30 AM
I have been meaing to post these for awhile, but life caught up with me.

I had made new curtains for my kitchen and had leftover fabric which I loved. I made this tote with the fabric plus some thick jersey knit black fabric. I started just using it to carry books back and forth but it has now become my main everyday purse. Sorry the pics are a bit blurry.
