1  Warmth for Iraq in Quilting: Completed Projects by yogirl on: September 14, 2008 08:33:46 AM
My husband was deployed, so I made him a blanket to take with him. The inner border is fun fur (teddy bear fabric) and the outer border, backing, and binding (which is the backing folded over) is all super soft velour. He loves it and reports that he uses it all the time since the AC is cold when he sleeps.

2  Re: fill a purse round 3 gallery in The Swap Gallery by yogirl on: April 21, 2008 03:54:57 PM
I received my package today from mcook72677!! I love it!! I can only post 2 pictures though at the moment cause my internet has been acting crazy and more pictures would probably time it out until I can reboot my entire home network.

The bag is great! I love the color!

The contents! I will tell you, the lotion smells so good that I can't stop opening it and smelling it. Even my husband took a couple of whiffs of it. My phone is going to be totally cozy and the skull button on the wallet is awesome. I love everything in the package and I can't wait til she gets my package.

Thanks so much!!

3  Some Jordy goodness *IMG heavy* in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by yogirl on: March 04, 2008 04:31:00 PM
So I felt like making a couple of Jordy's this past weekend. The grey one is the standard size, while the red one is about 4 inches taller. Enjoy!! I did use magnetic snaps in them because I hate the sound of velcro when I am in public or my oft times quiet office.

Small Grey bag with sparkly ribbon

Skulls and Roses Lining. I love this fabric

Red Jordy (this fabric hates being ironed)

lining which was just 2 Fat Quarters cut down

I got my package today from the wonderful Malibukasey. I loved everything in it. You have to excuse the horrible pictures, I will take better ones later.....my big cat was being a pain so I had to rush before he stole things.

The box was full of Reese's. My husband started stealing them the second I opened the box.

When I pulled them out, there was a cute purse in it. Cherries on the outside and skulls on the inside.

Inside the purse, there were a bunch of goodies. A make-up bag, two adorable kitty toys (cat stealing involved),
a headband (i folded in half so you all could see both sides, and a photo album for all my concert photos.

Thank you so much Kasey. I love it.

5  Tote bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by yogirl on: December 03, 2007 08:44:30 AM
I have been meaing to post these for awhile, but life caught up with me.

I had made new curtains for my kitchen and had leftover fabric which I loved. I made this tote with the fabric plus some thick jersey knit black fabric. I started just using it to carry books back and forth but it has now become my main everyday purse. Sorry the pics are a bit blurry.
