1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / New city, new house, new bathroom! on: July 25, 2010 10:16:59 AM
Hey all!
I recently moved and the new place has a lot of ICK going on, so I for sure wanted to redo the bathrooms. The master bath was the least icky, just boring.
I'll start with the guest bathroom.

Wish I had gotten a pic of the awful medicine cabinet before we took it out, but you can see the weird wires, holes, and AWFUL paint color.

You can kinda see how all the hardware was brass, I HATE brass.

YUCK!! Gross smudges, fingerprints, and overall nastiness.

The walls were this cerulean nightmare!

Ahhh! The after! I went with a really clean blue and white. Notice the absence of the brass hardware, and the shiny new (and bigger!) medicine cabinet!

Now, onto the master bath.
I can't find my before pics, but just imagine it plain, with another awful medicine cabinet.

I cleaned and cleaned, and went with green for this one, I also opted to do window film instead of going with curtains for the window.

I painted the cabinet brown to hide the chipping wood, and put on new hardware.
Both projects really didn't take much time or money, and it feels great to have a fresh new space!
Hope you enjoyed looking!
