and combining another box i think i saw in a swap gallery. it took forever!!! but i think he really liked it.

as you can see the first shroom was a little off (side piece). i made the chart wrong so i had to recount the squares but i still used the messed up piece. Let me know what you guys think!
15  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / my first... be gentle! on: October 26, 2007 08:16:25 AM
after looking at all your awesome creations i decided i was gonna recon my shoes... i was attending a party that i wanted to wear flat shoes. the shoes i fell in love with were super uncomfortable but cute cute. a couple of days before (after i had given up) i ended up in a store that gets shoes from (i've heard) the fashion industry. i found this babies

the bow had to go!

i gathered some supplies and went to town!

they turned out so cute!

I accidentally grabed the wrong glue but they held up real well through the night. the only problem i see was that the black cording was unraveling a little but a dot of the right glue will fix that.
oh here is the link of the shoes i fell in love with http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/26239967/c/3.html

17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / playing with beads turns into wearable stuff on: September 25, 2007 11:50:39 AM
I was part of the bead swap recently and after looking at so many beads i got inspired! They are not made for anyone but i think they will make great little gifts.

I actually did make this for me for it turned out too big.

two very similar with a little dragonfly clasp and charm

A lot of this stuff is different than what i usually make but i like using new materials. I really cannot tell you what all materials i used because i dont ever pay attention to the stuff  Roll Eyes i do mix all kinds of materials just because i like mixed up things!
Sorry i went picture crazy!
18  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Harry Potter Thestral & Cornish Pixie Dolls on: September 07, 2007 08:51:50 PM
another HP nerd here!  Grin made a thestral bc i am insane! almost went crazy trying to sew all the little pieces! i think i threw away the pattern bc i was so frustrated in the end

of course every thestral should come with a T-bone!

another creature i made is this silly cornish pixie the arms and legs are structured with pipe cleaners and so are the wings

the wings are plastic i got off the remnant bin so i couldnt tell you exactly what it is. the body is felt.
