1  Old fossil shirt into a sweet kiddie apron in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ScrapBinBaby on: November 20, 2007 12:32:16 PM
I hacked apart a couple old button down shirts and sewed up this apron for my kiddo's Christmas.  Smiley The apron front is the back of the shirt, so it was already fitted, and it's backed with some muslin I had sitting around.

It fits perfectly.  Grin

The top strap is made of the button hole panel, so it's totally and completely adjustable.  Grin The pocket was hacked off a girl's shirt and sewed directly onto my apron of fruity goodness. I'm not great at it yet, but it's wearable. Tada!

in this pic, the adjustable strap is just hanging, but when worn it doubles back and buttons on the button one more time (as in first pic)

3  Dr. Suess steciled t-shirt in Stenciling: Completed Projects by ScrapBinBaby on: March 28, 2007 09:21:19 PM
This is my first project post, and my first stencil attempt...I'm biting my nails giddy.  Cheesy

This is "The Lorax", done with a freezer paper stencil made from a stencil from the stencilry. It says "I speak for the trees". Next time, I'll use a darker pink...it's more readable IRL. Very tree hugger.  Grin
