1  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Lining the Queen of Hearts Bikini? on: June 07, 2008 12:53:08 AM
So, I've just finished the first cup of the QoH Bikini, and maybe I was knitting too loosely, or maybe the yarn I chose to sub with wasn't great (Patons Grace). Either way, the suit is slightly more revealing than I would choose to wear due to obligatory knitting holes. So, I have a couple of questions:

1. Will cotton yarn shrink at all in the wash? Can I block it to make the holes less big? (it's really just bothering me where I was knitting 2 together, lol).
2. If I were to line it, what would be the ideal liner? Swimsuit stuff from a local fabric store? Would I want to find one of those weird pad things?

I'll post pictures as soon as I get my hands on a camera.
