Thank you so much everyone!  I'm truly blessed to have so many people appreciate what I do!

Hey everyone, been a little while since I posted anything new...  The inspiration fairy has been messing with me lately, so I haven't been quite as productive as I would have liked to be.  Here's Mercury, a piece inspired by an abstract painting and finished only because a good friend encouraged me too.  Enjoy Smiley.

This is amazing! I see this one is single drop peyote... do you graph all of your own patterns?

Thanks so much!  Yes I do graph all my own patterns, that's half the fun!  :-P

It's in the mail Smiley.  Your links will follow shortly!

Thanks much!  It really didn't take long, maybe a day?  It beaded up pretty fast because it's a 4-drop pattern (I'm kind of stuck on those lately).

I knew this was your work from the merest glance at the thumbnail! Hit 'this rocks' as per usual!  Cheesy

What is a "4-drop pattern"?

Thank you!  A 4-drop pattern is the same concept as standard (single drop) peyote stitch, but instead of picking up one bead and skipping one bead at a time, you pick up four beads and skip four beads.  Does that make sense?

Beautiful colors & design. How long did it take you to make?

Hey everyone, sorry I've been kind of MIA lately.  I'm still beading up a storm (I swear it's the only thing that keeps me sane), just not posting like I should.  Here's my latest piece.  Enjoy Smiley.

Beautiful! Love the color choices. What kind of peyote stitch do you use? In your etsy shop are there thorough directions with pictures on your patterns? I'm considering a shot at one of your cuffs...can you tell?  Cheesy

Hey there,

this particular pattern is a 4-drop peyote stitch.  My patterns do not include instructions for doing the actual peyote stitch, but I would be more than happy to round up some links for you that contain crystal clear instruction Smiley.  The patterns include a large "numbered graph" kind of like a cross stitch pattern.  They also have a word chart, as well as a picture of the finished piece Smiley

Thanks so much for your interest and compliments!

LOVE these!  My mom used to beg me yearly for beaded ornaments, they are so fun to make and you did a beautiful job.  Smiley
