Thanks for showing this & the pattern. I am now making this for my grandma in the pink SWS colorway. It is not nearly as bad to make as the directions look, but the flowers have been a bit of a trial.

Yeah, the flowers took me a couple tries. It is well worth the frustration though!

I am majorly tempted to run myself on down to the yarn store... if I didn't already have too many projects on the go to the point my fiance aught to beat me.

How long did it take?

I'm not exactly sure   Probably no more than a few whole days, total.
I started working on it over Thanksgiving, quit for a bit, worked on it for an hour or two at a time for a while, and finished around the 15th of December. The lace works up pretty quickly once you get the pattern down.

That turned out really pretty, and it looks like it was really easy too! I love that you can't even tell it's squares sewn together.

Darn! I was going to buy the yarn today, but the pattern said about 412 yards...I had 4 skeins in my hands but kind of choked on the price (I'm a cheap yarn kind of girl), even if it was 30% off. I might wait for a better sale, or use a few coupons to buy what I need...maybe I'll go back tomorrow if the yarn is still on sale...because I just did the math and it really isn't as bad as I thought...silly me...

I had originally bought 4 balls and just took the extra one back to Michaels yesterday...they were having some kind of sale when I bought it too. I usually get whatever el-cheapo acrylic blend is on sale, but the sws is definitely worth it I think.

Aside from being just a purely awesome idea...the graphics look perfect, it's almost hard to tell it's crochet! Great job!
