242  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Puppet Theatre on: March 31, 2007 01:57:41 PM
Hello everyone.  I made this a few months ago for my kids.  It's a puppet theatre.  It's attached to my boys bunk beds.  They also use it as a pretend house.

243  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / A big dice made out of felt...big mistake! on: March 30, 2007 03:04:10 PM
Hello from Montreal. This is my second post.. i'm on a roll!

I made a dice out of felt last weekend, it was beautiful!! The kids loved it, specially my 1 year old.  But felt is not a good material for toys...There's a few torns in it right now.  I think the idea was good so I will make one out of fleece.

Here are some pictures of the felt one..I will post the picture of the fleece one the minute a finish, i'm pretty sure it's going to look the same  Smiley

244  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My hubby jeans on: March 30, 2007 02:39:45 PM
Hello from Montreal.  This is my first post and english is not my mother tongue...so please forgive any mistakes Smiley

My family and I are really into recycling...so I started to recycle cloths.  (We have five kids so hand me downs are very popular)... Anyhow, my first attemp is a pair of Jeans that my husband was going to give away. And yes my husband jeans do fit me .... Shocked

Hope you like the result, I sure do.
