12  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: BUY NOTHING SWAP (signups 10/23-10/30 by NOON; mail by 11/14) on: November 01, 2007 12:06:02 AM
Aww, crap, I just ran out of embroidery floss! I was really tempted to just go to walmart and spend the 10cents for another one, but that would defeat the idea of this swap.  Sad I guess I'm just going to have to rip out all my stitches and try something else.  Undecided
13  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: weekend swap 5 theme ideas? on: October 30, 2007 12:43:52 PM
how about a weekend IYP? that as the general theme, and then the partners can choose their own more specific theme.

I'm done with the outsides for both of my tins, I'm just at a complete loss right now as to what to put inside. Huh

Okay, it looks like I'm in need of an angel.  Sad

I had two flakers, so I need angels for DesignVigilante and Fluffed_kitten.

Desin_vigilante is in the US.
She likes Ramna 1/2, Sailor Moon, Paradise Kiss, and Inuyasha, to name a few.
She would like to receive plushies, T-shirts, keychains, or pins.

Fluffed_kitten
is in Canada.
She likes Fruits Basket, Full Metal Alchemist, DNAngel, & Ouran High School Host Club.
She would like to receive any kind of wearables.

Shoot me a PM if anyone would like to step up!

I'm Liz, in the US and I claim LizzieMcGuire for kool-aid, candy and knitting magazines.

I don't really have any specific countries in mind, I'd be happy to receive from anywhere!   Cheesy

My Wishlist:
*Postcards- Especially featuring architecture. I find American stuff so bleh. I would love anything with European castles and churches, or Asian shrines, temples or gardens. Or even anything depicting the local lifestyle, like fishing or farming or anything.
*Old maps- I like to see how different civilizations evolved.
*Dolls in your country's traditional clothing.
*Vintage buttons or beads
*Yarn (I'm only really familiar with acrylic, but I'm eager to try something else like bamboo, silk, or alpaca...)
*Fabric with prints usually attributed to your culture
*Coffee or tea native to your area.

Asian specifics:
origami or washi paper
bento boxes and accessories
batik fabric
hand-fans

I've seen somewhere online that a Japanese company makes double ended crochet hooks, those would be way awesome too.  Cheesy

Wow, an anime-inspired board game! So cool! You went all out on that one, I bet it took a lot of time!
