like in my fish bag theme i said i needed a carry on bag, but the one i made didnt fit my book. so i made another just now and its not as cute as the first cause i was out of that fabric but its reversible this time.  Smiley

i still need to find a needle so i can hand sew on some hooks so it can close.

5  AQUARIUM purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by sweetsewer on: June 04, 2007 09:50:48 PM
i needed something to use as a cute carry on for a trip i'm going on this coming monday, but i dont like huge back packs for just a book, mp3 player and a stick of gum.
my mom used to be a nurse so she had those goofy printed nurse smocks and i used two that match and made this little purse.

i have to make another one though thats slightly bigger because the book i bought today is too big. the velcro wont close! oh well.

action shots are always good.

inside - velcro.

holding my too big book!

i've been needing a bag to lug around my summer essentials this year, like sunblock, mp3 player and money for example. i decided on a whim today when i had nothing to do because of bad weather to make a tote out of an old shirt i got while on a cruise.

9  T-SHIRT - HOODIE . first post! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by sweetsewer on: March 25, 2007 08:21:02 PM
This is my first recon, or posting here. I acutally found this place a few hours ago try to find a way to re-size a big t-shirt. Then I found out how to do this and wham! - I got hooked.

Try and ignore my bad sewing job.
