1  Skirt inspired by Polka Dotty in Sew What! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Mouth on: April 02, 2007 06:33:37 PM
I made this skirt with a pattern I made based off the Polka Dotty skirt in the Sew What! Skirts book.    I cut the fabric too short and had to motify the pattern to put the slit in the back.  I didn't want to make the skirt any shorter because I'm a teacher and might wear this to school.  I tried it on while sewing (and took up like 1/2") and it's still too big. Do you think I could just resew the right seam or do you think I need to remove the facing etc. and then redo the side seam.  I'm sorry I can't post the pictures here...I haven't posted enough.  I would appreciate it if you would take a look (hopefully, the links will work).
