I just read this whole thread while sitting at work, (what else do i have to do? hehe) and I've gotta add my 2 cents here. I'm SO sorry this happened to you, how awful. That bag is the ugliest thing I've ever seen!

And everyone has this horrible paypal stories, but I think paypal is your best bet at getting a refund. Did the package have a tracking number on it? Because I'm betting it doesnt. I don't know if its too late or not, but you should have claimed through paypal that you didn't recieve the item, and paypal asks for PROOF, and if the seller can't provide a tracking number then he's SOL and Paypal yanks the funds back and refunds you automatically.

I know its a little sneaky, but shit, its true. You DID NOT get the bag you bought. As for shippnig the bag back to him, Normally I'd be honest and do it, but you know you won't get reimbursed for your shipping costs so you probably shouldn't.

And not to be mean to Etsy here, (because I love Etsy) but they are helpless in this situation.. all they could do is close his account (it looks like it already is?) they can't force him to pay you. And they're really just a small group of people and I'm sure they get tons of emails a day from people who have problems with shaddy sellers.

But paypal can force him to refund you assuming the money is still in his account. I've had several instances of not getting an item from ebay and they refund me isntantly.

So I was putting together this shelf all by myself, and was pretty proud of it untill I realized that the top shelf was UPSIDE DOWN! How do I DO this stuff??? ANyhow, the shelf was bought and meant to host several of my Potter items, so I whipped out my most potterish looking scrapbook paper, and mod podged it on. Now it looks as though I meant to do this =)

My little sister is a motocross racer and a HUGE Monster drink addict. So for her birthday I made her a pillowcase with the logo appliqued on it. I found the coolest black sparkly fabric that was amazingly SOFT and not at all itchy or stiff, and also the perfect green fabric for the M.

She may not look happy here, but she LOVED it, I assure you =)

My daughter had a Hannah Montana party for her 4th birthday and wanted a guitar cake. I knew I'd never be able to shape an actual cake into a guitar so I used cupcakes instead. I was a little rushed so I didn't get to look at an actual guitar, I just fudged them together till they looked right. I'd say its a mix between the body of an acoustic and the pickups of an electric. Plus it only has 4 strings, LOL, but she didn't mind.

The Happy Birthday words look AWFUL but I have bad arthritis, so I blame that =)

I put it on a piece of foam board that was covered in wrapping paper and star confetti.

I would be SO DOWN for this! I work in a cubicle and I absalutely LOVE the office and office space =)
