Pixieval - I'm very new to sewing and I made bean bags for my son. I made simple squares and rectangles in every color, stuffed them and weighed them down. But they were great for learning colors and counting. We also used them for games like dropping them into a bucket, throwing them, etc.

Cute idea. My only concern is that the fabric flowers will fray (like in the picture.) I also like the idea of a pearly bead/button in the middle.

I like both the rainbow frosting cupcakes (in the middle.)

In the middle, how about a flower? OR, you can make a circle and put the baby's initial in the middle of the circle. Hope that makes sense!
