any Wichita Falls area craftsters?
on: April 07, 2007 01:35:54 PM
Are any of you girls or boys from the Wichita Falls area?
I'm betting not, but just incase
Wichita Falls is about 2 hours north of Dallas.

That is ADORABLE, and your baby is gorgeous!
That is a really cute idea. I've never heard of one of those, but then again, I've never looked

I think the book has a lot of good ideas in it. Like others have said, some of the tops and stuff were pretty revealing, but some of them are pretty cute too
I like it most of the book, but some of the shirts are kind of "hey-lets-decorate-and-cut-up-shirts-to-wear-to-a-high-school-baseball-game-ish."
Discussion and Questions
Re: "Making Stuff" ::: yes please.

I like the simple shirt with the scarf straps and bow.
I have tons of long, skinny scarves like that, I'm excited to try that one because it can be casual or dressy. Ah, I get excited just thinking about it :-D
I am also IN LOVE with the star light thing. It is amazing, but it looks super complicated.
What the heck can I do with THIS?

They are ALL dangly, chandelier (sp?) earrings.
I love some of the ideas on that first site, and a brooch would be cute too, if only I had studs. . . hmph

old earrings. . .
on: April 06, 2007 03:29:50 PM
I have so MANY earrings. The only thing is I have lost one of them, so I'm stuck with all of these earrings that I love, but have no matches.
This may be a little, um, far-fetched, but does anyone have any ideas as to what I could do with all of my pretty, lonely earrings?

Re: 50s wooden desk -> cutesy strawberry sewing desk (with picture heavy tutorial)
on: March 28, 2007 08:59:35 AM
I LOVE this desk. I need something like that for my room so bad. I don't have an extra room in the house for an actual craft room, but I could store almost everything in that.
Ma'am, you're amazing.
It is beautiful.
