This is awesome! I am also a lover of natural wood grains, and I totally appreciate how much work that would have been, kudos to you!
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Supreme Jelly Fish for my kitty on: May 28, 2008 07:40:08 AM
Lobster is an adorable cat name.  Did you pick it or did the cat?  I always give my cats names and then we end up calling them something totally different.  My parents cat's name's Whipporwhill, but everyone calls her Wally McCat-o.  Not too sure why at this point, but there was a reason somewhere in the distant past, lol.  Also, the design for that toy is great, I might try one myself because my cats will only play with stuff that's hanging from somewhere.

This is HI-larious!  Reminds me of when I was little and my brother and I planned a teddy bear wedding.... granted our outfits were made of toilet paper, but it was still fun.  I love your big orange cat! Pylon is an awesome name, and that picture of him in his suit actually made me lol, he looks a little unimpressed.

I did a "mod podge" project with my brownie troupe once and they had to keep correcting me because I ALWAYS call it modge podge, it's just cuter, lol
6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: I had Brain Surgery on: December 19, 2007 06:48:53 AM
This piece is beyond incredible.  Many of my relatives have had brain surgeries (brain cancer in the frontal lobe, and a long history of aneurysms).  I get a CAT Scan every 9 months, and the fear of waiting to find out has always been huge for me.  I think looking at this piece and reading about your experience has cured me quite a lot.  You reminded me how strong we (people) can be when we need to be, so I just wanted to say thank you. And I wish you health & happiness for the rest of your life.
