2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Captain America duct tape wallets! ^.^ on: August 31, 2013 02:59:19 PM
Hello everyone. I have finished my Captain America wallets and I would love to know what you guys think. ^.^ They took me quite a bit of time and a few cuts, but it was worth it.

The first one is a Tri-fold. ( I just realized you can't see the slots on the inside but eh.)

The second one is a Bi-fold with two side pockets.

How it looks filled.

How it looks empty.

I really hope you guys like it and thank you so much for taking a look. <3
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / fathers b-day with no idea what to make on: March 21, 2008 10:42:06 AM
Alright so my dads birthday is coming up quick and I cant seem to think of anything to make for him.

He loves music, is actually in one of those old people bands playing the bass aswell as the guitar. He practically collects guitars, is a HUGE halo 3 fan and loves his mini cooper. (he even made a special parking spot for it in his garage.) I wish I could tell you more about him to help me create something but honestly thats about as much as I know about him.

If you have any ideas based on that I would love to hear them.

I want to make something he will actually have in his living room...but I cant think of anything. Last year we made a popped out rush cover 3 inch framed image (parts of each peice of the cover on different sheets of paper with a few centimeters inbetween them so it looked like it was kinda popping out of the frame.)that is no where in sight......
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Flogging molly/ st pattys day outfit on: March 17, 2008 09:18:14 PM
So I was going to see flogging molly for the first time on march 14th and I needed the perfect outfit. Starting a week before with everything being hand sewn I am pretty happy with the turn out. The black top is a halter with lace around the neck and in the back its doubled corset style lace up. Theres a flogging molly symbol but its covered by the green overshirt.  Embarrassed The chocker was made out of soda can tabs and extra green fabric. And the skirt was layered with black under the green. I even made leg warmers but they arnt shown in the image.

This outfit was fun to make and I am in love with the top.

Sorry about the images I got none from the concert these were from the rave the day after. ^.^ Hope you like it.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Fabric that looks like felt but is stronger? on: March 06, 2008 11:15:07 AM
Alright so my whole family is on a discworld kick. Which is an awesome set of books I must add...Anyways there is a character named rincewind that my brother absolutely loves and wants me to make his outfit/hat. The characters clothes in the book are made out of felt so it falls apart easily and I dont want to make it so it falls apart in real life but I want it to match the hat (Which I can make out of felt.) So the question is do you know of any fabric that looks like felt but is more durable and will last longer?

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Torn jeans into a RIP jacket? on: November 19, 2007 11:02:23 AM
Hi, I just found this torn up pair of jeans in my garage and noticed something about them. All over are markings from sharpies like little "I rock" doodled hearts and stuff like that. I noticed on it, it didn't just say I rock it said Ashley rocks (the girl who owned the jeans) and she past away about two years back and didn't have anything to remember her by. Until now, Ive seen all these jackets that are made out of jeans and such and thats what I want to to. I have several other jeans willing to be sacrificed towards the project and was thinking all her "doodles" would be collaged in the back and some on the side. If any of you have anything that can help me create this jacket I would greatly appreciate it. I don't really know where to start and have never made a jacket before so all the tips would help me greatly. I am extremely determined and will be checking back every chance I get.

Thanks for reading and help in advance.

8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / chocoholic swap? on: August 30, 2007 11:23:59 AM
Ok I have been reading about swaps and am a newbie when it comes to posting and swapping. But I truly want to be a part of one and didn't see anything for the chocoholics out there. I thought it would be really neat if there was one for treats or anything involving chocolate. (A notebook with chocolate design or anything anyone can think of.) I cant create it and I don't have enough posts but if anyone thinks about leading this swap I will have enough posts to be a part of it.

I saw nothing about swapping desserts/snacks (things that wont really go bad on the trip) hence the chocolate heh but if we cant do that then this would still be fun with items.

Just let me know what you think and if anyone is interested in leading a swap with it or just interested in being a part of it. ^.^

Im working on an elemental set, this one as you can tell is earth and in the right hand corner it says that in chinese. My mom had the idea of selling them since this one took me three days to finish and I was wondering what you think and if you saw this in a store would you buy it? Thank you very much for looking and I hope you liked what I had to show you.
