That is very cute and would be really great for spring/summer. Maybe with a soft brown top, you could rock it out!

Alright so my dads birthday is coming up quick and I cant seem to think of anything to make for him.

He loves music, is actually in one of those old people bands playing the bass aswell as the guitar. He practically collects guitars, is a HUGE halo 3 fan and loves his mini cooper. (he even made a special parking spot for it in his garage.) I wish I could tell you more about him to help me create something but honestly thats about as much as I know about him.

If you have any ideas based on that I would love to hear them.

I want to make something he will actually have in his living room...but I cant think of anything. Last year we made a popped out rush cover 3 inch framed image (parts of each peice of the cover on different sheets of paper with a few centimeters inbetween them so it looked like it was kinda popping out of the frame.)that is no where in sight......

So I was going to see flogging molly for the first time on march 14th and I needed the perfect outfit. Starting a week before with everything being hand sewn I am pretty happy with the turn out. The black top is a halter with lace around the neck and in the back its doubled corset style lace up. Theres a flogging molly symbol but its covered by the green overshirt.  Embarrassed The chocker was made out of soda can tabs and extra green fabric. And the skirt was layered with black under the green. I even made leg warmers but they arnt shown in the image.

This outfit was fun to make and I am in love with the top.

Sorry about the images I got none from the concert these were from the rave the day after. ^.^ Hope you like it.
19  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Fabric that looks like felt but is stronger? on: March 06, 2008 11:15:07 AM
Alright so my whole family is on a discworld kick. Which is an awesome set of books I must add...Anyways there is a character named rincewind that my brother absolutely loves and wants me to make his outfit/hat. The characters clothes in the book are made out of felt so it falls apart easily and I dont want to make it so it falls apart in real life but I want it to match the hat (Which I can make out of felt.) So the question is do you know of any fabric that looks like felt but is more durable and will last longer?
