Hee.  That looks familiar.  You did a really great job, especially for not having a pattern.  He looks great.
Oh I'm so glad that you showed up! As soon as I first saw your zombie doll, I just needed to make it! haha, now that I know your username, I can credit you.
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: What to do with sharks teeth....other than make a necklace? on: September 11, 2007 09:35:58 PM
You could make something along the lines of a "Shark-bite picture frame"! Glue them along the top and the bottom of a picture frame, and have a funny effect like the people in the picture are inside of a shark's mouth or something.

I'm REALLY loving the idea of melting them down and making them into something. I'd love to make them into glow-in-the-dark jewlery or something. If you make some molds, then see if you can melt, and pour them, you could do some pretty cool stuff.

I made this little guy a year ago, while I was vacationing up north, for a friend who is zombie obsessed. His name is "Gorgo". He's totally based off of a doll that someone else posted about a year ago, but the pattern was guessworked by me, and I can't recall but I'm pretty sure that I added a couple details too.
I'm REALLY proud of him, and to this day, even though we don't talk anymore, the person that I made it for still carries it around with him all the time.

He is made of felt, and the hair is made of yarn, which I rooted strand, by strand. His mouth, and "X" eye, and the veins on this open eye are embroidered, and the dark circles around his eyes were brushed on with black eyeshadow. The blood was done with fabric paint.

In this photo, he's beside a doll that I made when I was much younger. (It's a doll of Dilandau from Vision of Escaflowne)

*Edit: Credit goes to inle_rah for making the original inspiration!

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Creepy porceline baby doll head CANDLE HOLDERS! :'D on: April 03, 2007 12:38:13 AM
My boyfriend found these creepy baby heads for dollmaking for a buck each at Value Village, and I knew RIGHT AWAY that I needed to make these!
The bottoms were rounded, so I glues bottle caps to the bottoms (not too fancy, but they were lying on my bedroom floor! I want to spraypaint them black or something...), and I just placed the candles inside!
I think that it's extra cool, because when they are lit, and the lights are off.... THE EYES GLOW!
(Sorry, I couldn't light them for the pics, because I could not find ANY lighters in my house D: )
BTW: This is my FIRST posted craft! Be nice! :'D

Now I know something to make for my boyfriend who's planning to move out soon!
