1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Harold and the Purple Crayon on: April 08, 2007 09:32:40 PM
Once upon a time there was a little boy named Harold, who had a purple crayon...

...and he liked to draw.  Grin

Both cards together:

I think I did okay Cheesy It was a little hard to keep the purple crayon theme without having an almost bland card, but if you read the book, it makes sense being so plain! Smiley I only wish Harold had chosen a less messy medium other than crayon for us to draw with!! ^_^

This is my first challenge, hope you guys enjoy Cheesy
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Laminated Cards...Anyone Tried? on: March 22, 2007 04:56:35 AM
Hey all! Cheesy Tried my hand at ATC making for the first time today for the 100 Theme Challenge, and so far, so great! Only I'm worried about my tiny glued pieces staying in place. We have a small lamination machine (I think the biggest it does is 5x6 photos) and I considered laminating my cards to make sure they stay as they were meant to be and in one piece!

Has anyone else tried this? Is it even allowed in the ATC making process? XD Also, having not used the laminate machine for much other than photos, does anyone know what sorts of things can go through it? Would foils and stickers of any kind be okay?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated- hope I'm posting this in the right spot! Cheesy
3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hello Hello! ^_^ on: March 21, 2007 03:24:35 PM
Just saying hey everybody!! Cheesy I'm a new Craftster from Kitty Hawk, NC. I'm 19 years old and currently attending community college, hopefully to attend a 4 year school next fall to study History!

Craft-wise my interests are VERY broad, but I mostly love photography; I LOVE to take pictures! I also like to dabble in painting, cross-stitch, and sewing. I also love holiday crafts such as Christmas ornaments. ^_^

So glad to see so many awesome craft ideas here...so many things I want to try! Cheesy Glad to be aboard.
