21  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: irritating comments on: September 04, 2005 04:03:04 PM
The thing I hate most, though, is when I bring my chrocheting to school, almost EVERYONE asks "So what're you knitting...?"

At work I was doing small cross stitching projects (there are blank times with no work, I work in a call center).  And to my amusement many people asked me what I was knitting........

22  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Decorating a cat carrier ideas? on: September 04, 2005 01:35:10 PM
I have a toy bucket my mom bought.

Its red and has little cat themed things painted on it.  Including a picture of a cat... though it doesn't look like mine becuase my mom didn't have a picture to give to the lady that makes them

But it has things like "meow' and "purr" and toys, and such painted, as well as little kitty cats.

Maybe something like that?

Though.... I LOVE the taxi idea Cheesy

I was reading this for ideas for myself.

I'm preparing for the possible loss of my cat.  I'm hoping for the best, but it is realistically not looking well.

What I'm thinking of doing is making a little book.  I can't make a normal scrap book, I have very few pictures of him (only had him for a year and don't own a camera).  So I was thinking one or two of the good pictures.  Memories and memories about him.

If I have the money to do it I'll get him cremated, sprinkle him somewhere pretty and take a picture of where.  And add that as well.

I love the idea of trees and such but I live in apartment.

My heart goes out to any pet owner that has lost a little furry family member.

If we get something free, can we consider it for part of our stash to play with for this swap?

I've been wondering this.

I have first swap jitters now!  lol

I've already had to tear myself away from items at the store.  It was so difficult!  My mind said "but that only costs a few bucks and would be awesome....."  But I did it!  I told myself no!

30  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: I foudn essential oils at the dollar store? on: August 26, 2005 03:53:27 PM
I highly highly doubt these are essential oils.  As for if they are safe to use?  Who knows.  Probably.  Be careful though.
